This was my first time visiting a conveyor belt Sushi setup. The setup is quite tight, kinda like being on top of the table next to you. This concept is a cool idea but I believe it needs to be more room in the restaurant. If you have a large party bigger than four or five then you may want to choose another restaurant. All these tables only hold four people but there are two larger tables that may hold five people. We had a party of 12 but they had to split us into three different tables in three different areas of the restaurant. Several of us wanted some kind of spicy sauce to add to the sushi rolls and they did not have any spicy sauce like chili oil or Sriracha, except spicy mayo. The Sushi was just normal as it was only a few of the normal rolls, no specialty rolls, and they are only 1-4 pcs per plate per item chosen at $3.75 per plate. I did have two bowls of Ramen which was good in taste but smaller in bowl size. The staff was kind but when we tried to split up the check, our server was totally confused and ended up charging all 4 of us another persons bill from the table. They said sorry and went to the next table.

For our sushi loving friends, this one's for you! π₯° One of the best revolving sushi bar franchise from Japan just landed Ballantyne! π This is long but worth the read. π βAs a small family of three introverts, dining out and exploring restaurants is our absolute favorite way to spend time together! Back in February, while trying to decide where we'll go for my birthday, we realized that we had basically eaten our way through all of Charlotteβs dining options. π«£ Since then, weβve been keeping an ear to the ground for exciting new openings while exploring neighboring areas (like Indian Land, where we found our favorite butcher-restaurant! π«Ά). βLast weekend, we went on a date to the soft opening of the new Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in Ballantyne, and it was such a wonderful experience! β€οΈ βI actually grew up eating kaitenzushi (revolving sushi) style, so finding a spot close to home that tastes this great was a real treat. π₯Ή To be totally honest, we tried the another revolving sushi place in Uptown a while back (a completely different franchise), but we just couldn't get into it. We felt like we were paying dine-in prices for grocery-store-quality sushi, which just didn't make sen
